Beth Tomlin, founder of Oxford Writing Courses and Lead Tutor, has been teaching Creative Writing to young people for over five years. She has a first class Ba Hons in Creative Writing and a Distinction level Masters degree in Writing for Young People. She is a children’s and YA author represented by the Bath Literary Agency.

Beth was fourteen when she decided she wanted to be a writer and, luckily, the resources were there to guide her on her journey. But not everyone is so lucky. Oxford Writing Courses is here to help young people access Creative Writing resources prior to Higher Education. Not only do OWC focus on the technical elements of storytelling, they also guide students on their path to publication. Tutors with experience of the publishing industry are able to pass this knowledge down to young people to prepare them before they take flight into the world of storytelling on their own…

Please note: due to COVID-19 we are currently only supporting groups of up to 15 students in person for schools and educational establishments. All other 1-to-1 courses and Group Workshops are taught virtually via Zoom.
